Return Policy
GENERAL RETURN POLICY
Investments Hardware Limited will gladly accept the return of items that are defective via manufacturing and/or workmanship within 30 days from the date of purchase. Fulfillment shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items during shipment (shipping policy) will also be accepted for return within 30 days from the date of purchase. Special Order and Clearance items are FINAL SALE with No RETURNS, REFUNDS, or EXCHANGES accepted. For all non-defective item returns, these are subject to a 15% or more restocking fee.
Investments Hardware Limited reserves the right to limit or refuse the return of certain merchandise at any time or for any reason and request valid identification prior to accepting merchandise for a return.
All returns and exchanges can be facilitated at the retail stores by one of our trained associates.
- All returns/exchanges must have proof of purchase at time of transaction.
- Original form of payment must be provided at time of refund.
- We shall not accept any product that has been tampered with or packages that have been opened or product that has been used. In order to qualify for exchange, all product must be in its original packaging in order for full refund/exchange to occur. For defective product, exceptions are permitted relating to packaging.
- The following items are subject to manufacturer repair only. Investments Hardware Limited does not accept returns or exchanges on these brands, and defective items are covered solely by the manufacturer’s warranty: LB White Heaters & Accessories, Oztec equipment, Cub Cadet, Fox Vibrators, Stihl, Honda, Husqvarna, Battipav, BBTec, Collomix, EGO, Flex and Tsurumi Pumps. Investments Hardware Ltd. reserves the right to deny any returns or exchanges at its discretion, whether listed in this policy or not.

Apparel
- All returned Apparel will be subject to a 48-hour quarantine holding period prior to restocking. All products must be steamed to ensure sanitization safeguards ensue
- Undergarments out of packaging are not eligible for return or exchange.

Building Material
- Building Materials that have been left in outdoor environments where product is damaged or unsellable, are not permitted for refund or exchange.

Gas Powered Items
- we do not accept any Gas-Powered equipment for refund/exchange. As such, gas powered equipment is subject to the manufacturer's repair warranty only.

Safety Equipment
- All used and out-of-packaging Fall Protection Equipment is not eligible for a refund or exchange. Defective Fall Protection Equipment is subject to manufacturer’s warranty only.
ITEMS PURCHASED ONLINE
Items purchased on ihlcanada.com can be returned in store at Investments Hardware Limited within 30 days from the date of purchase.
If you are looking to make a return to the store, please bring the item(s) with the Order Number and a copy of the Order Confirmation Email. Merchandise must be returned in unused, like-new condition. Upon approval, your payment will be refunded to the original form of payment within 5-7 business days.
If you cannot come to our store location and would like to return your item(s), please email us at inquiries@ihlcanada.com, include your Order Number along with action needed (e.g. Refund Request - Order #). A representative will be in touch with you within 24-48 hours of receipt. Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Investments Hardware Limited does not offer a return shipping label for parcel returns.
All refunds and exchanges for items will only be approved upon inspection of product.
Shipping charges are not refundable.
- Due to safety hazard, items that use flammable liquids cannot be returned via courier even if you drain the tank before shipping. Please return in store at Investments Hardware Limited or contact Customer Service Team by email at inquiries@ihlcanada.com for instructions.
- For any fulfillment shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items during shipment, please report to Customer Service Team within 24-48 hours of delivery by email at inquiries@ihlcanada.com, Provide your sales order number and pictures for damages.
ITEMS PURCHASED IN STORE
Items purchased in store at Investments Hardware Limited can only be returned in store. All returns in store require the original sales receipt within 30 days from the date of purchase. Investment Hardware Limited does not look up receipts in store.
- Returns made within the first 5 days from purchase are eligible for refund to original form of payment
- Returns made after first 5 days from purchase are refunded via IHL store credit within the 30 days from the original date.
RETURN POLICY EXCEPTIONS
Gift Cards, Coupons and Store Credit cannot be exchanged or returned for cash, credit or cheque.
All items should be inspected thoroughly at the time of delivery. If you are not satisfied, refuse the item(s) before signing the delivery receipt. Be sure to report any item defects or damages to Customer Service Team by email at inquiries@ihlcanada.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Used power tools and gas-powered equipment will be repaired, if possible, in accordance with manufacturer's warranty through a manufacturer authorized service center. Please contact Customer Service Team by email at inquiries@ihlcanada.com for further information.
