The 40V max XGT® brushless 8-1/2 dual-bevel sliding compound miter saw kit (LS002GM102) provides 4800 RPM for faster and smoother cutting. The rail-forward design maximizes workspace when the miter saw is positioned flush against a wall. The miter saw has a large 2-3/4 x 12-1/4 cutting capacity at 90-degrees. The saw miters 0 to 60-degrees left and right and bevels from 0 to 48 degrees(left and right).The efficient brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer tool life. The GSL02M1 features Automatic Speed Change technology to adjust cutting speed and torque under load for optimum performance and a soft start to suppress start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life. Extension wings all for cutting longer materials and retract for easier storage. An electric brake provides maximum productivity.
